An encounter between a white boy and an African girl in a night train. They look at each other: he wants to, but doesn't dare. She lets him, but stays elusive. When the train stops at the next station, he has to show his colors.

Bram Schouw was born on 1979 in The Hague, The Netherlands. He graduated with honors in Writing and Directing Cinema. His final short film, MARRIAGE, was the official opening film for the Curta Cinema Rio de Janeiro 2005. It was shown at the London Times Film Festival, Dutch Film Festival, Short Film Festival Cardiff and Cinema Jakarta. In 2007 he co-directed the play Backspace for the festival Cinema et Justice, organized by the French Embassy. His second short film IMPASSE is part of the film project Stories On Human Rights, twenty-two Short films produced by the United Nations and Art For the World, based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Stories on Human Rights had its premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2008. IMPASSE received a Special Mention at the Amsterdam International Film Festival and won the NFTVM VERS Award 2009. At the moment Bram Schouw works as a commercial director, represented by Hazazah Film Amsterdam. One of his first projects, the international Dance4Life commercial, won the prestigious Award for Best HIV/AIDS commercial by the European Commission.
